Q. Nickname?

Micky for most of my life, kayla by my father when I was a baby and Mac at drama school..

Q. Why do you love what you do?

Being able to explore different worlds and ideas, and always getting to meet new people who are as passionate about the things you love as you are. 

Q. What was your first experience of live theatre, and what continues to draw you to it?

The first was a production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, way back in the day where Hugh Jackman played Gaston. Still My favourite Disney movie. 

That it is always fresh and unexpected, and the stakes of never knowing what will happen on any given show.

Q. What’s your favourite book or movie of all time, and why did it speak to you so much?

Oh, tough... It changes, but Harry Potter. I'd like to say something more literary but I've read that series 100 times, and will always go back to it.

Q. Who would play you in a movie of your life?

Michael Caine.
